Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Occasional flexibility for early morning or late evening appointments to accommodate patient needs
  • On-call duties shared among the orthopedic surgery team for after-hours consultations and emergencies, ensuring comprehensive patient care

Job Setting:

Our focus is primarily on providing outstanding outpatient orthopedic care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating patients' orthopedic conditions through comprehensive assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests.
  • Performing orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacements, arthroscopic procedures, fracture repairs, spine surgeries, and corrective surgeries.
  • Utilizing advanced surgical techniques and technologies to enhance patient outcomes and minimize recovery time.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, pain management specialists, and rehabilitation experts, to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Providing pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient education, pain management, and follow-up evaluations.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
  • Staying updated with the latest advancements in orthopedic surgery through continuing medical education and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Completion of a residency program in orthopedic surgery accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
  • Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) or equivalent certifying organization.
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the state.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, degenerative joint diseases, fractures, and spinal disorders.
  • Experience in performing various orthopedic surgical procedures, including joint replacements, arthroscopic surgeries, and fracture repairs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Dedication to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in the field of orthopedic surgery.

Salary and Benefits:
