Requirements:
- Must have an active State License
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient histories and schedule consultations before surgeries.
- Liaise with other physicians and perform the relevant tests before the surgery.
- Treat conditions related to the veins, arteries, and other blood vessels.
- Perform surgeries to repair veins and arteries and to treat other vascular trauma.
- Consult with physicians and refer patients to other specialists if required.
- Determine all risks associated with the surgery and clearly outline them for the patient.
- Address all patient concerns and answer their questions as accurately as possible.
- Keep abreast of advancements in vascular surgery as well as the broader medical field.
- Schedule follow-ups to monitor patients’ well-being and to advise them on suitable aftercare measures and medication they might require.
