The Surgical Tech will work closely with the surgical team to ensure that all procedures are performed with the highest level of accuracy and care. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
● Prepare the operating room for surgery by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies
● Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments, sponges, and sutures to the surgeon
● Monitor and maintain the sterile field throughout the procedure
● Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and other members of the surgical team
● Ensure that all equipment and instruments are properly cleaned and sterilized after each procedure
● Assist with the positioning and draping of the patient
● Participate in the training of new surgical techs and other team members
● Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures

Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent
● Completion of an accredited Surgical Tech program
● Current certification as a Surgical Tech
● Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical setting
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Ability to work well in a team environment
● Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
● Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
● Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
