Full-Time Ultrasound Technologist – New York
Position: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Huntington, New York (Diagnostic Center)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 per year
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our diagnostic center in California. In this full-time role, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with accuracy and care, helping physicians diagnose and monitor medical conditions. You will work with state-of-the-art imaging equipment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Capture high-quality diagnostic images and ensure accurate patient positioning.
- Review and evaluate images for diagnostic quality before submitting to radiologists.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide patient education and support, ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
- Active and unrestricted license in California.
- BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience in diagnostic imaging centers, hospitals, or outpatient settings preferred.
- Proficiency in vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, and general ultrasound procedures.
- Excellent technical, communication, and patient care skills.
