As a Sonographer, you’ll be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams and supporting physicians in assessing and diagnosing a variety of medical conditions. You’ll combine technical excellence with compassionate, patient-centered care across a broad range of clinical settings.
Job Duties:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams, including OB/GYN, abdominal, vascular, small parts, and emergency imaging
- Prepare and position patients for procedures while explaining processes and ensuring comfort
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to support accurate diagnosis and patient care
- Document findings, maintain detailed reports, and capture key imaging for clinical evaluation
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment (GE, Philips, or Siemens systems), ensuring quality and safety standards
- Participate in on-call rotation and support emergent ultrasound requests in trauma or surgical cases
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Current ARDMS certification (Abdomen and/or OB/GYN required; RVT or additional specialties a plus)
- Oregon license or eligibility in accordance with state guidelines
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 1 year of hospital-based sonography experience preferred (new grads with strong clinicals encouraged to apply)
