Now Hiring: Full-Time Sonographer – Hospital-Based
Job Type: Full Time
Location: Phoenix , Arizona
Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM
Compensation: $70,000.00 - $80,000 per year + benefits
As a Sonographer, You will be responsible for operating sophisticated ultrasound equipment, preparing patients for exams, and ensuring accurate imaging results. Your role will be essential in providing physicians with the critical diagnostic information they need to develop effective treatment plans.

Job Duties:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams including OB/GYN, abdominal, vascular, small parts, and emergency imaging
- Prepare and position patients for procedures while explaining processes and ensuring comfort
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to support accurate diagnosis and patient care
- Document findings, maintain detailed reports, and capture key imaging for clinical evaluation
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment (GE, Philips, or Siemens systems), ensuring quality and safety standards
- Participate in on-call rotation and support emergent ultrasound requests in trauma or surgical cases
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field from an accredited program
- Current Sonography Certification (ARDMS or equivalent)
- 1+ years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred, but new graduates with relevant clinical experience will be considered
- Proficiency in performing a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and musculoskeletal imaging
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and sonographic techniques
- Excellent communication skills to effectively explain procedures to patients and collaborate with healthcare teams
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Attention to detail with the ability to assess image quality and ensure accuracy
- Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and other healthcare technologies
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
