Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM
Compensation: $70,000.00 - $80,000 per year + benefits

As a Sonographer, you will play a key role in patient care by performing diagnostic ultrasound exams, ensuring accurate and high-quality results, and working with a team of medical professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Job Duties:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, cardiac, and musculoskeletal scans (specialization may vary by location)
- Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate ultrasound equipment, adjusting settings and using probes to obtain clear images of the target area
- Record, analyze, and report findings to physicians, collaborating closely for accurate diagnoses
- Maintain patient confidentiality and document images and findings in electronic health records (EHR)
- Educate patients about the procedure, answering any questions or concerns they may have
- Maintain ultrasound equipment, perform regular quality checks, and report any issues to the appropriate team members
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control procedures at all times
- Support other medical staff as needed in the delivery of care
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field from an accredited program
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification preferred (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience with ultrasound imaging techniques and equipment (specialties may vary by location)
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology as it relates to ultrasound imaging
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and medical staff
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- CPR/BLS certification (preferred but not required)
