Full-time/Part-time Physical Therapist Assistants Needed at Active Therapy Services in Waldorf, MD
We are a multi-state therapy clinic dedicated to providing quality rehabilitation therapy services. Our innovative physical therapy clinical programs will challenge new and experienced Physical Therapist Assistants.
We have state-of-the-art equipment, modality-based programs, well-equipped gyms, and much more. Our Directors of Rehabilitation are experienced, organized, manage schedules well and lead our therapy teams in the ethical care of our residents.

Minimum Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant (new grad PTAs are welcome!)
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Ability to practice physical therapy unencumbered by state and federal guidelines
- Passion for aiding and working with the elderly
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility
Essential Functions:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy assistant with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant
- Performs services planned, delegated, and supervised by the PT
- Uses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills to participate in teaching the patient and family
- Completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner
- Applies concepts of infection control and standard precautions in coordinating/performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of disease
- Accepts clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to care for patients
- Meets mandatory continuing education requirements; participates in in service programs
- Demonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency
- Proficient and comfortable using technology to communicate and perform essential job functions.
Salary:
$50,000 to $65,000 per year
